Madhuri Dixit

Madhuri dixit is an acclaimed Indian actress, known for parts in the film Hum Aapke Koun. She first began her career as a performer in the late 1980s. Her fame was boosted by the movie Tezaab with an established actor Anil Kooor. Then she appeared in the film Dil where she starred alongside Aamir Khan. Early on, as a girl growing up in Mumbai's middle-class, she began to learn how to dance. As a teen, she attempted acting, however most of those early films failed. Then, she discovered success with Indian filmmaking and rose to the top. She decided to take a break from acting due to her marriage, before going back to the industry of entertainment. She was recently an integral part of Gulaab Gang about Indian women. Dixit is nominated to win 15 Filmfare Awards, out of which she took home eight. Padma Shri was awarded to Dixit, the fourth-highest civil honour in India. Her work in the field of social service is known to the world.
